Coverite Upholstery
Whatever your furniture and upholstery requirements - our skilled craftsmen are willing to visit you at home and discuss the potential design solutions for you furniture and soft furnishings.
We are based in Pentlow, on the Suffolk and Essex Border. Ideally located for Sudbury, Long Melford, Clare, Great Waldingfield, Lavenham, Bures, Boxford and Halstead. We are also happy to travel further – for example, Bury St Edmunds, Haverhill and also other Suffolk, Essex and Norfolk counties.
OUR HISTORY
Coverite Upholstery are based in the small Suffolk Village of Pentlow, which is very near Long Melford and Sudbury. Bury St. Edmunds, the A14 and Colchester, the A12 are 30 minutes away.
Coverite Upholstery is a family business that specialise in all items of Furniture whether it be a Modern sofa, Antique Chaise Longue or Chair it may even be a Caravan, Boat or Horsebox. No job is ever too big or too small.
Coverite Upholstery is owned and run by Andrew Gowing. He has a vast knowledge and understanding of the Upholstery/Furniture Industry having been in it since 1988. Originally we were based in Stock, Ingatestone Essex for many years however more recently the Business was moved to Suffolk in the Village of Pentlow.
HOW WE WORK
All items go through our preparation process where they are stripped to a bare frame/shell. The item is then checked for any defects and rectified, all internal fillings, springing and webbing’s are then replaced. The Furniture will then be rejuvenated, revitalised to its original guise, or perhaps restyled to modernise it.
Naturally antique furniture will only ever use traditional fillings of Horse hair, canvas, jute webbing and Coil springs. More modern furniture in turn will use modern principals.
Furniture is then returned to you, all work being fully guaranteed.
Should you have the misfortune to be involved in an insurance claim, please rest assured that our workmanship has a full history of Insurance Company approval.
